Cabin Classes

Economy

New Economy cabins contain seats with a pitch of 34 inches, 121 degrees of recline, USB ports, in-seat power supply, coat hooks and 10.6 inch seat-back screens. Cabin crew can provide passengers with a wakeup service if requested. The in-flight menu will vary depending on the flight but can include a selection of Korean, Western, Chinese and Japanese meals and beverages. Korean Air have audio/video on demand entertainment systems onboard offering 50 films, 50 short documentaries, video games, news programs and 3,000 songs.

Prestige

Prestige Class cabins on select aircraft contain adjustable flat beds with shell screens, USB ports, in-seat power supply and 15.4 inch private screens. Other aircraft offer extra wide and adjustable seats with personal screens. Passengers are provided slippers on all international flights. The in-flight menu includes Western, Chinese and Japanese courses in addition to a traditional Korean menu prepared by the first class chef. Top quality wines and beverages are also available. Korean Air have audio/video on demand entertainment systems onboard offering 50 films, 50 short documentaries, video games, news programs and 3,000 songs. On 777-300 aircraft a ground view is projected onto the cabin's wide screen along with information about the flight and destination.

First

First Class cabins on select aircraft contain Kosmo suites which include adjustable flat beds, large privacy screen, premium BOSE headset, USB port, in-seat power supply and 23 inch private screens. Other aircraft offer sleeper seats and extra wide seats with personal screens. Passengers are provided in-flight clothes on select flights. The in-flight menu includes Western, Chinese and Japanese courses in addition to a traditional Korean menu prepared by the first class chef. Top quality wines and beverages are also available. Korean Air have audio/video on demand entertainment systems onboard offering 50 films, 50 short documentaries, video games, news programs and 3,000 songs. On 777-300 aircraft a ground view is projected onto the cabin's wide screen along with information about the flight and destination.
Baggage
Economy Class passengers are allowed 1 piece of 12kg hand luggage, 2 pieces of 23kg (each) checked baggage when flying to the Americans and 1 piece of 20kg (total) checked baggage for all other destinations. Prestige Class passengers are allowed 2 pieces of 18kg (total) hand luggage, 2 pieces of 32kg (each) checked baggage when flying to the Americans and 1 piece of 30kg (total) checked baggage for all other destinations. First Class passengers are allowed 2 pieces of 18kg (total) hand luggage, 2 pieces of 32kg (each) checked baggage when flying to the Americans and 1 piece of 40kg (total) checked baggage for all other destinations.
Check-in Options
Check-in for international flights on Korean Air close 60 minutes before departure time for flights to North America and Europe, and 40 minutes before departure time for all other destinations. Refer to the airline for more details.
Rewards Program
SKYPASS rewards program allows members to earn points when they fly with Korean Air and their affiliated partners which include airlines, hotels, car hire organizations and credit card companies. Accumulated points can be used towards flight upgrades, extra baggage, priority treatment and other benefits with Korean Air and their partners.
Lounges
Korean Air has KAL Lounges located in Busan (Domestic Lounge), Jeju and at Seoul domestic and international airports, as well as access to affiliated lounges around the world. Lounges include showers, sleeping rooms, exclusive suite rooms, TV screens and business facilities. Lounges also offer wireless internet access, snacks and beverages. First Class and Prestige Class passengers as well as SKYPASS Million Miler, Morning Calm Premium, SkyTeam Elite Plus and SKYPASS Morning Calm members have access to KAL Lounges.
